Dan & Carol Iverson
MTW, Japan
Currently U.S.-based, Dan has handed off duties as pastor, team leader, and country director, and now focuses on mentoring, coaching church planters, teaching/preaching, and recruiting. Carol handed off duties as principal in our team's school, and now focuses on mentoring women, Parakaleo training for women, Japan member care, and teaching.
June 2025 Update
We continue to be involved in Japan from a distance (though Dan goes several times a year) as we live in Virginia with my 95 year old mom who continues to do so well. I (Carol) have been keeping my hand in teaching online for our school there and to vicariously experience Japan through our granddaughters (Jonathan and Maggie’s six) and Seth and Lindsey (preparing to go).
Prayer requests:
1. Please pray for Carol’s healing following a bad car accident in April. Give thanks for the LORD’s protection. I’m so thankful God spared my (Carol's) life. My vertebral fractures are healing slowly, and the LORD has been near and precious as I wait.

2. Please continue to pray for God to empower Dan with the Holy Spirit to preach the Word and be useful for recruiting people and praying for missions. (He has been really pressed, weak, and needy and appreciates your prayers while preaching and meeting others in ministry.)
3. Pray for prayer! That the LORD would help us to fulfill our particular calling to mobilize more prayer for Japan, and missions in general through the quarterly MTW Japan Prayer.
